Today at 10:32 PM the 5th largest site of world, Facebook went down in Pakistan and possibly at other places too. I confirmed this by asking all my friends who were using different ISPs. The problem still hasn't been fixed and may last for a longer time. No reasons have been declared till now but experts suspected it to be another DDoS attack. When I started blogging for the first time, changing themes wasn't an issue because my blog was almost empty with respect to content and the traffic was too less to call my blog a live one. So, I used to just fiddle around whenever I had to change theme and it didn't really matter to me if the site looks broken for a while. Recently I had to change layout of one of my blogs which has reasonable amount of traffic on it. We recently talked about installing a fresh copy of Wordpress on your localhost or computer. Now we will tell you about importing your current online blog to localhost to make an exact copy. To proceed with this, you must know about localhost, so, it's highly recommended that you read about installing the fresh copy of wordpress first. To import your online blog to localhost, you need to download your database and site first. To do that simply go to PHPMyadmin of your host and export your MySQL file and download the complete wordpress folder including all the themes and plugins. { Read more... }

By default the size limit for importing MySQL database is 2 MB. To increase this limit you will have to change the php.ini file which can be located in C:\WAMP\BIN\Apache\php.ini if you are using WAMP.
